Donal, Mike, Mike, Misha and Joe. We must have rolled out of Peet's at
around 6:45. The Panhandle and GG Park were fun because of the
sprinklers. Then Joe took us along Lower Great Highway, which spared
us from the considerable ocean breeze. We took Skyline Drive instead
of Skyline Highway, thus avoiding the dangerous lane crossing at
Rt35/Rt1 intersection. Mike's dérailleur got stuck in the small cog,
which made our ride even more soothing than we anticipated. Windy
going across the San Andreas Lake damn, and then I came off San
Andreas Road and into the brush -- I took at downhill curve too fast,
too wide. No harm done. The rest of the ride was fairly uneventful.
Joe peeled off at Redwood City, a 2h 51m moving time got the rest of
us to Slice in time for yummy Pancakes!
