4 visible riders met this morning: Julian, Brandon, Liam and Topher. 1 stealth rider left 90 mins late: Andrew. The 4 sunk up from behind on an oversized weed whacker on SCT. Julian, doing an impression of Don Quixote at a windmill, attempted an attack under the the monster's neck, near its vicious gnawing teeth. The monster hesitated in surprise, and the four slipped around its less dangerous side. 90 minutes later Andrew faced the monster head on, again it hesitated and he too could slip past unscathed.
We all parted ways in the vicinity of Crystal Springs and 92. Topher and Liam hung a right at 92. Followed 1, Stage Road, Cloverdale and Gazos Creek southward, reaching their offsite in Santa Cruz at 12:30. Andrew rode in to Santa Cruz 90 mins latter. 80 mi, 5000ft of climbing, 5.5 hours. Very Respectable.

at San Mateo (Crystalsprings) and will be wasted on caffeine.
